Delores Kay Petersen (Lee), 64, of Bremerton, WA, passed away on August 6, 2017 after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis.

Delores "Dee Dee" Petersen was born in Milwaukee, WI on May 11th, 1953 to Charles and Ada Lee. She graduated from Pt. Townsend High School in 1971. At the age of 18, Delores met "Pete" Petersen and they fell in love. They were married 3 weeks later on November 8, 1971.

Delores was a very talented seamstress. She made several of her daughters' dresses over the years, including her eldest daughter's wedding...

Delores "Dee Dee" Petersen was born in Milwaukee, WI on May 11th, 1953 to Charles and Ada Lee. She graduated from Pt. Townsend High School in 1971. At the age of 18, Delores met "Pete" Petersen and they fell in love. They were married 3 weeks later on November 8, 1971.

Delores was a very talented seamstress. She made several of her daughters' dresses over the years, including her eldest daughter's wedding gown. She also loved crafting and prior to her illness enjoyed attending local craft fairs where she would sell her creations. She also enjoyed attending her children's sporting events as they were growing up.

Delores is preceded in death by her husband Pete, mother Ada and father Charlie.

Delores is survived by her daughter, Cassie Salscheider (Jeff), son Josh Petersen and daughter Jessie Story (Corby). She is also survived by her brother's Bill Lee (Diane), Louie Lee (Gail), sister Brenda McIntyre; grandchildren, Jacob Salscheider, Nathan Salscheider (Elise), Gabby Story and Maison Petersen, as well as many nieces and nephews.

While we are saddened by the loss of our mom, grandma, sister and aunt, we are also comforted knowing that she is at peace and no longer suffering.

Graveside service will be held August 25th at 11:00am. at Miller Woodlawn (5505 Kitsap Way, Bremerton 98312). There will be a gathering at her daughter's house at 1:00pm. Please ask for address/directions.
