David (Dave) Martin Morris, born April 27, 1969, passed away in Bremerton on March 26, 2015. David is survived by his mother, Diane Gray, step father, Glenn Gray, sister, Jodi Morris, sister, Flo Piper, step brother Matt Gray, step sister Janine (Gray) Krogh (Jeff) as well as numerous nieces and nephews. David was preceded in death by his grandparents Gustav Bjorlee and Minnie Bjorlee.

David went to school at North Seattle Community College and received his BA as an Electronic Technician and in computer repair, but his passion was cooking. David was a chef for 20 years and enjoyed cooking since he was a young boy. David also loved playing guitar, reading, listening to music, and riding his bike.

Some of David's favorite things included Sons of Norway, his Grandpa was President of language camp and David loved riding the floats in parades. He was a city boy and loved his time living in Ballard. As a chef, David loved to cook and prepare wonderful meals for his family. Some of Dave's other favorites were some of his four legged friends including Jumbo in Ballard, Sweetie at the family home, and Oly while he was growing up; Dave really loved to be around and play with cats.

Dave was a real inspiration during his life time. All the while that he was sick he never complained during his illness, he just fought and tried to get better. Now he is free from the pain and suffering that the illness had caused him.

We will always remember Dave and how he loved to study everything before he did anything. He loved his sister Jodi and his nephews Riley and Bryce very much.

Please join us in honoring, and celebrating Dave's life this Monday, April 6th, 2015 at 1 pm. Services will be held at Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home in Bremerton.
